The need for a quality education in a risk-free environment has never been more challenging than during these these difficult and uncertain time. At Niagara Academy Online, providing a quality education within a safe and secure environment is paramount.
While teaching in a face-to-face, bricks and mortar classroom provides a rewarding social experience, parents are understandably concerned that it
also brings a heightened risk for health and safety.
Niagara Academy Online bridges the gap between traditional classroom education and online learning. Using our virtual classroom, teachers are present from start to finish in each class. Students will have their teacher present to answer questions in real-time, just as they would in a regular class setting.
When students move to an online format, adhering to a routine schedule can be difficult. Niagara Academy has chosen to follow a strict timetable in order to help our students and their families maintain structure in their daily lives. Students will begin their day at 7:00 am (ET) and complete their academic classes at 1:00 pm.
Our state-of-the art learning management system, Brightspace from d2l, provides parents, students and teachers with all the tools necessary to follow progress, identify challenges and keep students engaged.
The ability to interact with teachers and fellow classmates in a real-time online environment does not replace a bricks and mortar setting, but it does provide a safe, and healthy alternative for achieving an engaging, quality education.
Uncertainty creates fear, and anxiety. We’d like to help you and your family achieve peace of mind, by providing the best experience in a synchronous (live) classroom.
